OpenSound is a monthly concert series that explores contemporary improvised music,
bringing artists from disparate backgrounds together for unique events in Somerville. The process
of improvisation combines the distinctive voices of its individual performers, and blurs the
distinctions between performer and audience.

There needs to be a word that combines “performer” and “listener.”

OpenSound is dedicated to suggesting possibilities for such a word.
